Primo kit Airfix dopo un sacco di tempo, ed a parte qualche piccola imprecisione ( un po troppe sbavature per un nuovo stampo e fit a volte non proprio semplificato ) trovo che la nuova linea di kit della storica casa inglese sia veramente sorprendente.
Per un 1/72 ha un livello molto alto di dettaglio, in questo caso specifico forse solo il pannello strumenti è un po' basic ( il pannello è piatto e gli strumenti sono rappresentati su una decal ).
Infatti l'ho prontamente sostituito con un foglio di fotoincisioni zoom della Eduard, anche se tutto sommato alla fine si vede ben poco...
Dipinto con colori Tamiya e Mr.Hobby, dopo aver preventivamente dato una mano di Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal spray.
Tra il Bare Metal ed il camouflage ho passato una mano di Worn Effect AK Interactive per poter ottenere poi delle scrostature realistiche.
Il weathering è stato effettuato esclusivamente con oli e pigmenti.

First Airfix kit after a lot of time, and apart from a few small inaccuracy ( too many flashes for a new mold imho, and sometimes the fit is is anything but simplified ) I find that the new kit line of the historic English company is truly amazing.
For a 1/72 has a very high level of detail, in this specific case perhaps only the instrument panel is a bit 'basic (the panel is flat and the instruments are represented on a decal)
So I quickly replaced it with a sheet of photo-etched Zoom Eduard, although all in all at the end you see very little ...
Painted with Tamiya and Mr.Hobby colors, having previously given a coat of Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal over a primed surface ( Tamiya Grey )
Between Bare Metal and camouflage I sprayed a layer of Worn Effect AK Interactive to be able then to get a realistic chipped paint.
The weathering was done exclusively with oil and pigments.
