New Eduard 1/48 Bf 109 G-6 Late - first look

Ed eccolo, finalmente, preso ieri dal mio negozio di fiducia dopo averlo preventivamente prenotato.

La bellissima box art di Shigeo Koike ( grande acquisto da parte di Eduard ) già impreziosisce la confezione...

Aprendo la scatola poi ci si trova di fronte a due grandi stampate, altre due più piccole relative a semifusoliere ed ali, una stampata trasparente con una caterva di tettucci, foglio di fotoincisioni zoom precolorato, foglietto masks pretagliate e ricco foglio decals

And at last here it is, fresh picked yesterday from my local store after having booked it previously .

The beautiful box art of Shigeo Koike ( great acquisition by Eduard) already adorns the packaging ...

 Opening the box then we are faced with two major sprues, two other smaller ones related to fuselages halves and wings, a clear one printed with a lots of canopies, a classic Eduard zoom photoetched  pre-colored sheet,  a precut mask foil and a rich decals sheet.

La stampata dei trasparenti offre tre opzioni di parabrezza, due tettucci "classici" con frames e ben tre Erla Haube, il dettaglio mi sembra fantastico.

Memore delle inesattezze dimensionali che Eduard ha avuto con la release precedente, ho immediatamente provveduto ad un confronto tra le stampate ed i disegni in scala in mio possesso ( tratti da Kagero Monograph n.19 "Bf 109 G/K" vol.I e II ).

Quantunque non abbia rimosso ancora i pezzi dalle stampate, le dimensioni mi sembrano corrette, forse la punta delle ali è leggermente più appuntita ed il tubo di pitot un po' più lungo.

Mindful of the dimensional inaccuracies that Eduard had with the previous release, I immediately proceeded to a comparison between the new sprues and the scale drawings in my possession (taken from Kagero Monograph 19 "Bf 109 G / K" vol.I and II ).
Although it has not yet removed the parts from the frames, dimensions seem correct to me, maybe the tip of the wings is slightly more pointed and the pitot tube a bit 'longer.

Non ho ancora controllato attentamente pannelli e bocchettoni, ma ad occhio mi sembra tutto ok.

Dovrebbe essere inoltre essere facilmente riproducibile un G-14, dato che oltre che la cappottina Erla e le varie sezioni di coda, è presente il bocchettone per l' MW50 e la bugna sinistra del cofano motore con la piccola carenatura a goccia per la presa d'aria del compressore.

Presente anche il ruotino di coda alto.

Riguardo l'accuratezza lascio l'ultima parola a chi è più esperto di me,  ma così a prima vista a me sembra un gran kit con tantissime opzioni, e con un dettaglio fantastico.

Vedremo come sarà la costruzione...

I have not carefully checked all the panels and hatches, but by eye it all seems ok. 

It should be also be easily reproducible a G-14 version, given that in addiction to Erla canopy and  various tail sections, the 'MW50 hatch is already present as well as the engine cowling starboard bulge with the small compressor fairing intake scoop.

Also present the high tail wheel option.

 Regarding the accuracy I let the last word to those who are more experienced than me, but at first sight it seems a great kit to me, with many options and fantastic detail.
